How to deep condition if hair is too thin?
Ok, so I was BORN with thin fine hair so I can't really help that. I've wanted to start deep conditioning my hair but there is one problem. When I do, my hair looks even thinner! I use a little bit of coconut oil (Not even a teaspoon of it), My v05 conditioner and honey (Only use honey like once a month). When I put this in my hair and wash it out, it's extra flat and thinner looking. I know it's not the v05 during this. How can I deep condition my hair if it's to thin to handle anything? (There's a pic of me just in case if it helps. This pic is before I started to deep condition)
Have you tried jojoba extract? It's a good conditioner and it's lighter than coconut oil.
You have very beautiful hair, I must say. I too have fine hair. There a lot of it, but its fine. I like to use light leave ins. Try Knot Today.
You have such a cute texture! You should really try Tigi Nocturnal therapy...Here's the link. http://www.naturallycurly.com/curlproducts/view/10250/tigi-reparative-nocturnal-treatment-34-oz Contrary to most deep conditioners, this one is actually super light weight. It comes out in tiny portions...so you can carefully measure how much you put in your hair, and it won't weigh it down. You can leave in your hair overnight, but there's no need to. Try it. I think you'll love it. If you don't want to spend much money, just use your normal daily conditioner with a 1/2 tbs of olive oil, but leave it in your hair for 30 minutes and blast hot air with your diffuser over your head to help the moisture set into your pores. This is a lightweight option for people with your hair type. Hope that helps!
