How do I get the Perfect Two strand twist?

My twists ALWAYS come out looking silky...To make a bit more sense, when you take twists out, your hair is usually curly. My twists, since they are loose and silky, when I take them out, my hair has a wave to it but looks more like I straightened it then put it in a braid to give it some waves. While lovely, that is not the look i'm going for and I want my twists to be wearable instead of thin and weird looking...I usually twist them when they're damp, after I've detangled, moisturized and sealed. I stopped using a curling product because I thought that was making it silky..I'm just so frustrated at this point I don't know what i'm doing wrong.. Sos.(You can see in the picture I attached..I need some serious help)

It looks like you aren't letting them dry! Start using your curling product again and allowing your hair to dry. Dampen your hair, detangle thoroughly, apply your curling cream (remember to smooth it, from roots to end) and then twist. From the picture, it looks like you're not twisting tight enough. Remember to have a constant twist routine (don't allow your hand to loosen or tighten up) all the way down. If this doesn't work, try 3 strand twisting. You can look it up on youtube, it's similar to braiding but gives way more definition.Good Luck!
