So much breakage while transitioning? Help?

Hi, So I am a year into my transition and I am experiencing so much breakage. I am not ready to big chop yet. I have switched up my hair routine a lot. I now follow the lov method and I don't have as much breakage but I still have quite a bit. How can I avoid this? Is it normal? It's inlu the relaxed ends falling off.

DON'T do a BIG chop , deep-conditioner once a week and trim once a month .
I've been transitioning for about 9 or 10 months now and haven't been experiencing any or at least not crazy amounts of breakage, but I feel bad every time I read about someone who has. I would just have to recommend lower tension hairstyles. Definitely make sure you sleep with a satin bonnet or a satin scarf and satin pillow if you aren't. I've been doing that since my hair was relaxed and it was REALLY healthy. If you haven't started cowashing or don't do it so frequently, I might start that (I usually do it 2 to 3 times a week to keep my hair well moisturized without buildup).  As for deep conditioning, I'm not quite a fan of the Shea Moisture Raw Treatment. It left my hair softer, but not any more moisturized and that softness didn't really stay. I would look into Shea Moisture JBCO Hair Masque (and that whole line, I love it). I've been using that and loving it. This way you more steadily incorporate protein treatments (and you still get the moisture) so you can help buildup strength.
