Even my friends make fun of me??
I recently stopped trying to hide my 3a shoulder length curls and just let them be at school one day. As soon as I walked into the class, my friends and other students were dead silent and looked horrified. I live in a southern FL town where all the girls have stick straight hair. My "best friend" went up to me and flat out told me to "put that frizzy mess back wherever it came from". I was mortified and I don't know what to do about my hair. I actually really like it curly, but it does get very humid where I live. Anti-humidity products you could recommend?
Tell your friend to walk, your curls have to be beautiful, because curly hair can't be ugly if you take hair of it right. That day was probably humid. Have you ever heard of the 'Curly Girl Method' by Lorraine Massey? She wrote a book called the 'Curly Girl Handbook'There's Youtuber called Curly Penny she did a video on it you should watch it.You'll need Hair Gel and Sulfate-free Shampoo.
Wearing natural hair takes bravery in social atmospheres thAt praise straight hair. Happened to me when I was in high school; you're breaking the status quo. Look for products that's don't contain humectants; those attract moisture to the hair which will cause frizz. So nothing with glycerin. Glycerin plus water in the first 5 ingredients will definitely promote frizz.
