I haven't had a perm in 2 years now. my hair hasn't grown at all. should i cut it for it to grow?

did you maintained your ends thru your transition? meaning trimming them every 6 to 8weeks. Trimming your ends during transition is very important to the process. Since our ends been with us the longest they tend to get brittle and dry from the lack of protein and chemical abuse. I teach my clients in order to have healthy long strong hair you must shampoo often ( helps stimulate scalp and promote blood flow to scalp which produces more healthy hair...TRIM YOUR ENDS EVERY 6-8 WEEKS (in some cases as needed) and last avoid product build up ( not against oil and creams just dont use everyday and only shampoo hair once every two weeks) hope this helps
