How often should I wash my hair and how should I go about doing it. Also, which products?

I have 3c hair and I am just beginning to transition, so I need as much help as I can get on how to achieve my healthy curls back.

I believe it differs for different hair types. Most 3 hair types could go without washing for a week and to get the most out of your transition make sure to use oil/butter on your hair as some youtubers mentioned. It would also be a good idea to use protein treatments on your hair to help retain and seal moisture in your hair. Finally co-washing and using sulfate/sodium free shampoos would be ideal to also help with retaining and sealing moisture.
Since you're transitioning, not too often as you'll damage your already fragile hair. Maybe every 10 days or as you feel is needed. Try Shea Moisture, Camille Rose, TGIN, Curls or As I Am. I believe that Shea Moisture has something for everyone though. Even if your hair doesnt like its she-based products, there are some based in coconut oil etc. Most if not all of the brands are available at Target
