I'm currently transitioning and I'm wondering my "back" hair aren't curly as to front and sides(´⌒`。

I stopped relaxing for 1yr 3mo.now and been committed to the curly girl method. My hair is like...2b,2c,3a,3b kind of hair now and it seems weird cause its not poofy anymore :/PS. I still don't own a diffuser yet and there aren't any sulfate free shampoos here in Philippin

I don't really know how to fix this issue but I struggle with this as well. From what I understand the back tends to take on the most stress btw hats, hair styles, and sleep patterns. So that messs with the curl and bounce of hair. I've noticed that adding more (lots more) product (curl enhancer/ deep conditioner ect) helps a little bit. But that comes from my cosmetology friend nd various websites.
It is likely that the straight parts are still damaged parts. You are still transitioning so this is not the final result. Take care of your hair as much as you can. Keep it moisturized and focus on the back by adding a bit more product. As far as the shampoos, you could also switch to cowashing with silicone free conditioner. Recently there was an article posted about having a hard time finding the right products in countries where they do not sell it that much here : http://www.naturallycurly.com/curlreading/sustaina...Hope this helps!
