would like to find out something about my hair. I have been on jerry curls for about 2 years now and am tired of the look and because of that I haven't done anything to my hair in the last 6 months. Now I would like to transit to natural hair. What do I do and how do I go about it. Because right now I can't brush my hair also my hair is pulling out seriously. I have grown it a little and I would like to leave the length like that and just transit into naturalsPlease kindly advice

Some ladies who are transitioning find it helpful to temporarily use products containing silicones and/or polyquaternuims especially for conditioning as these provide a lot of slip and can help minimize the texture difference between the new natural growth and the chemically treated hair.  However, it sounds like you are experiencing breakage, and if it continues, you will not retain length anyway. As much as you may hate the idea, the sooner you cut off your jericurl, the sooner you will be able to enjoy your new healthier hair. Then you can experiment with products to find what works best for you and decide whether you want them to have all natural ingredients or not. YouTube is full of videos on ways to style TWA's (teenie weeniie Afro's). That way you'll look great while you grow it back to your desired length while staying natural. Hope this helps--Good luck with your journey!
