will putting my hair in a tight gelled back bun with a drawstring ponytail prevent it from growing?
My hair is badly damaged my edges are thin and my hair is chemically and heat damaged. For the time being I have opted for a drawstring ponytail as a transitioning style I gel my hair back so it blends with the ponyytail and put it in a relatively tight bun before applying the ponytaill. am I doing the woong thing?

no just make sure its not too tightput it in a normal bun, not tight, and tie it down with a scarf to ensure it stays slick and smooth
Hey there! I answered your question here:How to Get the PERFECT Wash N GO: #AskNikki
dont wear your hair to tight as that can cause breakage especially around your edges. And putting a bunch of pressure on your hairs follicle constantly can damage the follicle causing it to shed that hair all together.
