does straight hair grow faster than kinky hair?

Everyone's hair grows differently, rate wise. On average .5 inch every month. It may seem like straight hair grows faster because they don't have any shrinkage, whatsoever. At the end of the month a person with straight hair will have just as much growth as a person with naturally curly hair
Nope. In general, hair grows 1/2" per month, but only if you're getting proper nutrition.
