I am having a lot of trouble determining which hairtype fit into.

I have been transitioning for 6 months now!

I think it could be hard to tell at this point because it looks as though you're either transitioning or still relaxing/straightening your hair. I don't know if you're interested in transitioning but doing that will reveal your true curl type.
Honestly...I can't tell either :) You may not be able to meet your true curl pattern until you have stopped styling your hair straight. If you are still putting any kind of straightening/texture softening - anything like that on it, you won't be able to see your true curl pattern. Its possible that even if you have stopped putting straightening treatments in your hair, your curls are being stretched by the weight of the rest of your hair. If you were to cut the straight ends, your curls would spring and coil up more. If you are wearing straight styles by blow drying or flat ironing your roots aggressively or with high heat to make them lay down, you may have some heat damage that has straightened out the curl.My best guess is that your hair is somewhere between a 3C and 4B.I hope that helps!
