Weekly egg or banana blend applied on hair for 2-3 hours, followed by no shampoo ir conditioning, just cold water thorough rinse. Change the oil, use some light extra virgin or coconut oil. Start braiding it in a simple ponytail at all times. And yes, invest in a good conditioner. Tresemme might suit you. Try. SheaMoisture, devacurl, jessicurl, kinky curly.
Try the low-poo method. This means, limit your usage of shampoo (it can strip away the natural oils in your hair & backfire on you!), and instead, co-wash your hair as often as you need to (condition it). Then, style it with a gel that will bring out your hair's natural texture. At night, co-wash to get all the gel out, and continue to do what you've been doing- sleeping with a du-rag or satin scarf. Based on your hair type, here's what I found:Organic Root Stimulator Conditioner http://www.naturallycurly.com/curlproducts/view/7243/organic-root-stimulator-olive-oil-replenishing-conditioner-conditioner-1225-ozEcoco Gel-http://www.naturallycurly.com/curlproducts/view/6870/-styling-and-finishing-32-ozhttp://www.naturallycurly.com/curlproducts/view/4495/Eco-Styler-Krystal-Styling-GelHope this helps!
