Hey there! :) I'm mixed too, and I have varying types as well. I have tried a variety of products, and for my hair (which I *believe* is also a 3abc mix), and the best so far has been Miss Jessie's Leave-In Condish, and Herbal Essences Sleek and Shine products (specifically ones that mention anything about curls). Our textures sound very similar, except that my 'kinky' part is actually at the back/top of my hair. I also flat-ironed for years, and I stopped a few months back. I hope you find something that makes your curls pop!*This is my process for a great hair day:1. Wash my hair with conditioner (no-poo method).2. Squeeze out excess water. Towel dry, get dressed.3. Get my leave-in, gel, spray bottle filled with water, and a paddle brush. 4. I separate my hair into six sections (it's very thick even though it's short), then I take one section at a time and spray it until it is sufficiently wet, and gently run the *paddle* brush (not a normal one) through it - you can see the definition already by this point!5. I then apply a quarter size amount of my leave-in, and scrunch in a dime size amount of my gel (it's liquidy and a little goes a long way). I do this for each section, and then I don't touch it and let it air-dry. 9 times out of 10, my curls are VERY defined, little to no frizz, and bouncy! I also like my hair to have little volume. If you prefer more volume, you can just run your fingers through it a few times to separate the curls! :)
