Why Is the Top of My Hair Not As Curly As The Bottom?

At the top of my head, my hair is pretty flat, but it gets curly as I go on. Do you know why this might be? I have long hair(down to a couple inches above my waist), so I don't know if that's a factor. I added two pictures so you guys can kinda tell what my hair looks like. The picture with my face is to about 1/2 or 3/4 down my hair, and the other picture is my curly ends. Thanks for any help!

This is totally normal! When your hair gets longer, it's very heavy, so the weight of your ends pulls down on your roots and causes them to be flat. If you would like more root volume, try not to add a lot of product close to your roots. You could also try getting a haircut with short layers. This will relieve your hair of some of the weight.Hope I helped! :)
