How do you maintain your curls after a workout and prevent over washing?

I want to stick to my new routine but I'm having trouble figuring out what to do with my hair if i can't wash it immediately. I go from class, to the gym to work and so far I've been late and washing everyday. HALP!

Hey girl, I work out 5-6 times a week, and I know how you feel. I wash my hair twice a week because of my workout routine! I wash Sundays and Wednesday. What I do is the night before a wash, I do Coconut oil treatment (put it all over my hair from roots to end). Put it ion a bun and and let it over night. then in the morning at 6am head to the gym with my hair still in a bun. After I am done before I hop in the sauna for 20 mins I spritz my hair with water and some type of conditioner tp moisten my hair. Put a shower cap on, sit in the sauna for 20 mins, then head to the shower and rinse and wash my hair. That has been working for me. As for the days in between I just braid my hair in two cute braids or some type of separated protective style so the sweat doesn't accumilate in my scalp. Hope it helped!
