Wash & Go for type 2/3 hair? My hair has been drying straight & poofy

I have heat damaged hair and lately after i cleanse my hair and let it air dry, it dries straight-ish and poofy. I have naturally 3a hair, but because of damage I typically have 2b type waves. I want to restore my hair, and i'm trying to find a wash and go that will enhance as much curl as possible.

Hi OftheMoons, Sounds like you need to first repair your damaged hair before you can get your curl back. Instead of relying on wash and gos, why don't you try protective styles? Protective styles are like braids, buns, or hats that protect the ends of your hair. They protect your hair from the elements. My hair always feels 10x softer after a protective style, and I'm sure it will help you retain moisture (which is what you need to grow your hair). Use a good leave in conditioner in your hair, and then wrap it up in a bun. For days when you do want a wash and go, try using a curl enhancer to give you the extra curl you want. I like U R Curly Tight Curl Enhancer. Use that and a texturizer spray like Amika Undone Texture Spray. With that and some heavy duty scrunching, you'll get the curls you want. Just remember to lay off the heat and focus on feeding your parched, damaged hair. Here are some articles about fixing damaged hair: http://www.naturallycurly.com/curlreading/curl-pro...http://www.naturallycurly.com/curlreading/curly-ha...
