2b/c high porosity, medium weight, low density hair care??

hi there! I'm hoping someone out there can help me! I'm just getting started with all of this stuff and I think I have 2b/c hair (underneath is more curly and on top more wavy and even straight in some places). It tends to stick to my head and get very greasy. I tried going no poo by using baking soda and vinegar to wash/rinse my hair. At first that was a positive experience until my scalp started to get itchy and flaky (I have no history of dandruff). The ends of my hair have been colored and are very dry. I also have a hypothyroid issue I am now taking supplements for and I think I suffered some hair loss in the past year as well. So, i think I get confused wth all this stuff because the high porosity aspect calls for heavier creams and butters yet the low density/greasy/wavy hair calls for light products. I've purchased the AG re:coil shampoo and conditioner - is that a good start?? As for product or methods for maintaining my hair between washes or even what to put on after a wash, I am clueless. I really want to figure this out so I can grow long thick beautiful hair but I'm worried that maybe that's just not in the cards? Any help would be much appreciated! Thank you!
