How can I get my hair to be more consistent?
My curl pattern is mostly 2A with a mix of 2B. My hair width is medium to fine, Hair density medium, hair porosity is medium to high, and my hair length is medium. I'm trying to embrace my wavy hair, but i'm getting frustrated with how inconsistent it's being, so much so that 2 years ago I was considering getting a perm to make my hair more consistent and easier to manage (I had very long hair at the time and it took so much time and energy to dry it and make it look decent). Then we ended up moving to California (which is the place we actioned at and my wavy hair looked like beautiful "giant finger waves") so I figured i'll wait it out and see how my hair work there. Well, it's doing better than it was in PA, but it doesn't have as much of the random curly parts like it used to, and isn't always the dramatic waves i've been longing for. I am currently using Blossom and Bloom Ginseng + Biotin Volumizing conditioner by Briogeo, and Briogeo Be Gentle, Be Kind Green Tea Shampoo. I currently have no styling products as we've been very busy and i've needed other things first. my hair is also color damaged, and my hair dresser gave me "penetrate" a deep conditioner to use twice a week to help fix with the damage. I also have moroccan oil, which I haven't used in a while. btw, the pictures of me and my service dog are from 2012, and just in case you were wondering, the harness she is wearing is not harmful in any way, it was designed by a saddle maker and a dog chiropractor so like a horses saddle it sits off of her back, it is also made with aluminum so the harness isn't heavy at all and she wears it to help me with balance and she is also my medical alert dog and alerts me when my BP drops so I don't faint (:
