How to restore wavy/curly hair?

I have dyed my hair so many times that it's so damaged, luckily I've noticed the olive oil helps so its made my hair better, but regardless its still very dry. The top of my hair is wavy, the middle wavy/curly, but the ends are somewhat straight. I have no idea what to do to fix my hair, parts of my hair get straight VERY easily depending on what hairstyle I do and especially how I sleep. I really want to love my hair more and fix it. Is there anything I can do to restore my hair and get it to its natural texture?

I say it all the time, can't praise it enough....the Curly Girly method (and a nice trim) should help your curls bounce back! My hair has gotten curlier since I went CG a few months ago! You can buy the book by Loraine Massey - Curly Girl Handbook or seek out the info online. Basic points: no sulfates, no silicones, no parabens, no mineral oil, no petroleum and get more moisture into your hair. It doesn't have to cost a lot either. I get my hair cut dry which is best for curlies. I skip 1 or 2 days between washes and some washes are co-washes (light conditioner as your shampoo,  like V05). Hope this helps!
Hi Alexiae, I completely agree with KatCurl. CG method is great for restoring health of your hair because you're focusing on the long term health of your hair, and you'll start to see your natural pattern come back. Keep doing the olive oil treatments, and definitely deep condition your hair every 2 weeks. That will help restore moisture and health to your hair. As far as your hair naturally straightening out, it's normal for wavies. It happens on 2nd or 3rd day hair. I would try pineappling your hair and then check out CurlyWavyDiane's nighttime routine. http://www.naturallycurly.com/curlreading/wavy-hai... You can also use curl refreshers (usually in the form of a spray) to help bring some curl back on your second day hair. Hope this helps!
