Anyone found a successful replacement for Queen Helene Curl Shaping Creme? Has been discontinued.

CG for about 8 years. I have 2B hair (I think) and have been using Queen Helene Royal Curl Curl Shaping Creme for about 4 to 5 years. It's actually a gel or jelly. It has been discontinued. The first several ingredients are aqua (water), glycerin, pectin, agave rigida (sisal) extract, aloe barbadensis leaf juice, camellia sinensis leaf extract, royal jelly extract, carbomer. No oils or silicones. My long term routine and products are wash & condition on Sunday using Shikai Tea Tree Shampoo followed by Giovanni Nutrafix Conditioner then wash & condition on Wednesday using Giovanni Smooth as Silk Shampoo followed by the matching conditioner. Both wash days I mix Giovanni Direct Leave in Conditioner with Queen Helene Curl Shaping Creme (jelly) & spread all through wet hair first using fingers then using a VERY wide tooth detangling comb. Scrunch all over. Diffuse dry. SOTC with coconut oil. Pineapple and sleep on satin scarf over pillow to get 2nd, 3rd, & 4th day hair. Refreshing is take out the pineapple, flip hair, water mixed with thin layer on hands of QHCSC spread over frizzy or out of place areas.I like QHCSC b/c it seems to bring out my best curl (like I had no idea I have this curl), leaves my hair feeling as if there is no product in it (so it's very touchable) yet has great hold giving me 2nd, 3rd, & 4th day hair & somewhat keeps down frizz & flyaways (I'm honestly not sure what I have just that my hair is not perfectly in place but doesn't bother me), & gives me some root lift b/c I have none naturally & must diffuse to get any.My quest for a replacement has been unsuccessful. No 2nd, 3rd, 4th day hair with any products, no hold, no frizz control (more frizz than just leaving my hair product free and air drying), too greasy looking, no root lift, tacky feeling. I have tried KCCC, Suave Max Hold Sculpting Gel, Giovanni LA Natural Styling Gel, Cantu Curling Custard, Garnier Pure Clean Gel. I thought KCCC would be a great replacement b/c it has aloe & pectin but it didn't have near the hold, my hair looked so frizzy (embarrassingly frizzy) & greasy. I even tried it w/only 1/2 tsp on bra strap length hair when straight. My husband took a video the day I used it on my hair and I asked him to please delete it. Looks like a kid tried to style their hair with no products or bed head, I'm not sure. Just VERY bad.On a side note, CCC ended up being perfect for my daughter's 3B hair. It's all she needs for leave in and styling. Please help! I have been telling everyone I can about CG for years, but maybe this is b/c QHCSC was great for my hair. If what I'm going through right now is what others go through trying to get started, I am tempted to go to a straight bob. I want to carry myself well and at least halfway look like I know what I'm doing with my hair. I lead music at my church so experimenting is difficult, b/c I don't want to wash and use heat on my hair more than 2 times a week. Sunday is definitely not an experiment day. I will have to use my last jar of QHCSC. Wednesday I can experiment, but that's only once a week, I'm thinking I will need to try a product 3 times or so to get a good feel for it.

HELLO!OMG, Im really sad about this and actually abit upset too =(Let me know about your journey further. Thank you also for posting this. Fellow Curly sisters, before I started using Queen Helenes curl shaping creme and leave on conditioner I was using the Kinky Curly line at whole foods. The unfortunately thing is that it costs more though! I made the switch about 5-7 years ago when I came across Queen Helenez curl shaping line at Davids Natural Market here in MD!I hope this helps. Have you found anything similar with a lower price point?
