My natural hair is too short and too curly!! What can i do???

I have elbow length hair when it's strait. When it curls, it curls up past my sholders and out like a triangle. I have tryed just about everything to make it stay that lenght when its dry. I want my hair to be wavy and long. What can i do?

You probably want to seek the advice of a curl expert stylist who can give you a proper cut to get rid of the dreaded triangle head.  You can find one here: http://www.naturallycurly.com/curlsalons/In terms of getting your hair longer, you really just have to wait for it to grow out. As it gets longer, the weight of it will pull some of the curl out, maybe.  You can also try putting duckbill clips on your ends as your hair dries; this will stretch out the curls some, too.
