how to get my 5 year old full and curly hair back after i used a straightner.

my 5 year old daughter used to have 3b curls until i used a flat iron (just once) about a month ago without realising the damage i was going to do.. now her hair became very thin and her 3b curls turned into 2a and it doesnt look full at all...i gave her a trim but still her curls didnt come there anything i could do? is it possible that i ruined her hair for good..

Straightening used to fry my hair, as I have 3b curls also. The best thing you could probably do is use a deep treatment masque. I recommend SheaMoisture's shea butter deep treatment masque. Follow all of the directions to the T and your daughter's hair could return to normal. When straightening her hair, it's extremely important to use the right protectants to ensure the hair returns to it's original state. I use John Frieda's Frizz Ease 3 day straight, followed by Joico K-Pak Smoothing balm when the hair is damp, and Moroccan oil after it is straightened. I hope this helped!
