I need help, my daughter hair is super thick and curly.

I can't get it to look good. It's always frizzy and never looks curly unless wet, always a hot mess. She is in middle school now and just wants it to be beautiful haha. Any help would be appreciated. I have straight straight hair, so I have obviously been at a loss for years now.

I would say your daughter's hair is 2B, which means it is pretty wavy. I got a DevaCut recently and they teach you everything you need to know to take care of your hair properly. Like, how to wash it, how to maintain it, and how to style it. It is a really good program and you can find a stylist near you using their website. The stylists will tell your daughter what products she should use on her hair, specifically.  My hair used to be a hot mess too, because of the products I was using. They had silicone in them that built up on my hair. If she is using a product it probably has these in them, and they make your hair frizzier because they stick around. If an ingredient has the suffix -cone it most definitely has silicone in the product. Also, your daughter should try to sleep using a satin pillowcase, or pineapple her hair to protect her curls. I really hope that this helps!
Hi! Your daughter's hair is quite beautiful! I agree with emiapear, that her hair is 2b. I recommend that either you or your daughter does some research on 2b hair types. As for a routine, maybe as soon as she gets out of the shower and her hair is wet, she can add a mousse and let her hair air-dry. (I highly recommend Herbal Essences Tousle Me Softly Tousling Mousse which you can find at Target or Walmart). Make sure not to use heavy products, and don't worry too much about it, your hair is gorgeous, hope i could help :)
