I struggle with tangled hair especially on the second and third day. Any ideas?

I have very frizzy and tangled hair on 2nd 3rd day even though i finger comb with conditioner when I wash my hair and I also sleep with a pineapple on a satin pillow. Any suggestions?

Hi CurlyDish, It sounds like you're doing all the right things. Can you tell me which part of your hair is getting the most tangled? Close to the roots or your ends?
Sounds like maybe your ends have suffered some damage and are starting to mat and tangle. Be sure to really focus most of your conditioner on your ends, and not on your scalp. Your scalp will moisturize itself with the natural oils and sebum. But for curly hair it's harder to get those natural oils to the ends. Then apply a leave in conditioner to your ends when you get out of the shower, and wear protective styles at night. I recommend Kinky-Curly Knot Today. It's perfect for detangling, and you can use it when you get out of the shower and just leave it in. Pineappling is good, but it's not protecting your ends. Protective styles are the kind that protect your ends from the elements, such as buns, braids, head scarfs, or beanies. I would recommend a ballerina bun that you can put on the top of your head so it won't get in the way when you sleep. Be sure to tuck those ends in so they're not sticking out. If you want to take it the extra mile, buy a satin scarf that you wrap around your head while you sleep. But I think your satin pillow should be enough.
