I'm new to wearing my hair natural. I'm not sure of my hair type.

To was my hair I use Organix shampoo and conditioner as well as Frizz-Ease Dream Curls shampoo and conditioner. Once I wash it I use Shea Moisture Coconut & Hibiscus Curl products. The first day my curls are so nice. The problem comes at night, I'm not sure what to do with it to keep my curls at least decent the next day. I sometimes where a bonnet or I'll do 4-5 flat twist but they never work out. In the morning my hair is matted and tangled. I tried the pineapple but my hair isn't that long to get it to the top of my head. Also, about 6 months ago I had the top half of my head dyed blond and it broke off really bad. So the top of my hair is shorter than the back. SORRY if I'm all over the place. I really need to know how to manage my natural hair. I want it to grow and just be healthy. Also, the last time I had a perm was in Nov 2010. I will attach a picture of my curly hair.

Using a satin sleep cap at night could make a difference with your 2nd+ day hair
I'd say you have 3C curls. Beautiful!
I think your ends need a slight trim but other than that id say your a 4a/3c
