How to refresh next day hair with short hair?

Ive been natural in and out through out my life. Unfortunately i didnt have anyone to help or guide me with my hair.  So until recently i have been doing so much research on my hair. which products to use how to maintain my curls, etc. ive been watching alot of videos on youtube trying to figure out how to refresh my curls.  all the videos the girls have long hair and have it in a pineapple. my hair isnt able to be put in a pony yet.  i do have a satin pillowcase. What i have always done was either get in the shower wet my hair add conditioner and then use my eco styler.  I did this when my hair was really long. Now that my hair is alot shorter i was just getting it soaking wet with a spray bottle mixed random stuff in there brush it then add my eco that ive been watching all these videos my reg has changed. but im afraid im doing something wrong and adding way to many products. Now i spray my hair with water not to wet. use like Shea Moisture Yucca & Baobab Thickening Growth Milk and thenShea Moisture and Hibiscus Curl Enhancing Smoothie or  Shea Moisture and Hibiscus Curl Enhancing Smoothie and then Miss Jessie’s: Jelly Soft curls Gel. My question how should i be refreshing my hair each morning? is what i am doing right? using this products everyday? or show i do something different?Oh i have 3c/4a/4b hair

I think you have to find what works for you. You will know this by how your hair reacts to the layering of the products. If you are experiencing dryness, more tangles, less definition then switch it up. When you hair starts to look and feel better stick with that. My routine when I had short hair was different from yours, but thats because it worked for me. I used some water and Knot Today mixed in a spray bottle. I've heard other people use more alcohol based products like refresher sprays... those just made my hair sticky and dry. I would ease up on layer too many products because that will cause build up. So start with light but moisturizing products. Milk and butters are good for the winter but using them everyday will back fire- at least for me. At night, when my hair was shorter, I just slept on a satin pillow case. I didn't twist or re-style. I did all the styling in the morning. :)
use mini pony tails that works for me
