  • 2 teabags of chamomile (or 1 tbsp)
  • 1 teabag of mint (or 0,5 tbsp)
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/3 cup aloe vera juice (the edible kind, can be substituted with water but this weakens the hold)
  • 0,5 tsp xanthan gum powder
  • 1 tsp maple syrup
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice

1) Boil the water and add the chamomile and mint, like you would brew regular tea. Let it steep until the liquid has cooled to room temperature. 2) Strain the herbal tea. Whisk all fo the ingredients together and let rest for a moment. The xanthan gum will thicken slowly. You can also do the mixing in a blender if you find it easier than whisking. You can adjust the thickness to your liking easily. Add a tiny bit more xanthan gum powder if you find it too runny, add water if it becomes too thick.
