I've been going to Sara for years now. Sara (pronounced saw-ra, not "Sarah") has long curly hair herself and knows how to deal with curly hair. She always shampoos and conditions my hair before cutting it, so I've never experienced a "dry" cut, but I've also never had a bad haircut from her. Sara has given me quite a few different styles and cuts through the years, from highlights to razor cut to layered to blow-dried straight, and they always come out great. On the rare occasions that I ask, she will offer advice on products to use, which aren't necessary the ones they sell at the salon, and how to care for my hair. Sara is reasonably priced, too (currently at $50), but it's always worth the money to find someone who knows how to cut curly hair!
