I needed a trim. I was surprised to find not one but two of the staff are naturally curly, and better yet know how to cut curly hair! The cut itself was fine - she didn't do a dry cut, but instead looked at how much the length changed from wet to dry, and then took precisely as much as necessary off. She even trimmed my frame properly (no razors!), and knew how to style curly hair. The price is very reasonable for UK stylists - £21 for wash, cut, and style - and the shop has a lovely atmosphere. My only true annoyance is that they're big on Redken products, which are full of 'cones. The stylist, however, was aware of the CG method but had her own issues with it. Fair enough: cones wash out, and I was mostly more concerned with not having my hair hacked to bits. I'd give this place a 4 out of 5 stars: Good value, good service, shame about the cones, but they'll wash out.
