My experience with Ahz was absolutely fantastic. I scheduled an appointment for 10:45 a.m., and although I was running a little late, he greeted me with a patient smile. Ladies, this is an attractive guy that treated me with royal welcome and professionalism. I hadn't gotten my hair done in 2 years, and my hair is very kinky. Actually, I'm usually frowned upon when I enter salons and remove my hair wraps, but Ahz just looked at me, smiled, and said, "Don't worry, I'm gonna make you look beautiful!" Usually stylists are inexperienced with handling hair like mine, but I could instantly tell this guy really had an understanding of natural hair. He thoroughly shampooed, deep-conditioned, and after parting my hair in about 8 small sections, he blow-dried it out with ease I've never experienced. After blow drying it, he flat-ironed it bone straight, and gave me the most beautiful layered cut, then he curled it into the a very nice feathered look. I was taken-aback!!!! His prices were straight forward, and if your in Chicago with natural hair, I would definitely recommend you to go and see Ahz!!!!!!!
