I was new to Boston and had not visited a salon in several months. I bbbaadddllyy needed a trim. Danesha washed/conditioned/blowdried/flat-ironed and trimed my hair. It came out awesome!!! I hadn't had my hair straightened in about a year so I was worried about heat damage. When I washed my hair again the next week, my coils were back and better than ever. NO HEAT DAMAGE! I heard about Simply Erinn's through a natural hair group and some classmates. I loved the salon and everyone there. It was cute and not pretentious. Will be going back.
Nice comfortable atmosphere. They cater to afro-textured hair. I went there once and I can't remember the name of the stylist who trimmed my hair (Donna? she has a short afro)She was very sweet and did a fine job. It was a basic trim, so nothing fancy. Reasonably priced (about $20). Someone on staff had her hair cut by the owner Erin and it was a nice sharp looking pixie. They received a "Best of Boston" recognition for best ethnic hair salon. If you're looking for basic, no frills this may be your spot. I'm looking for a salon a little edgier with precision cutting, but I might go back for a shape up.
