Stephanie takes all the time needed to understand your hair issues. She cuts dry with special scissors (totally necessary with curly hair) then wets the hair, cuts the ends if needed and uses a technique for adding layers that does not give you the mullet look. Then she asks you to go live with it for a few days and see how it curls when you style it and then come back a second time to make any corrections needed. In my case, no second time needed. You know hair at the back of your head gets flat as your curls grow out when you would like some fullness. Well her technique for shaping and cutting the hair in that area works perfect. I love the way my curly 3b hair looks now. Never have your hair cut wet if you have a three in your curl pattern.
