I really enjoyed my visit to Van Cleef Salon. I have been natural for 8 years and completely stayed away from visiting a salon. One day while visiting Chicago I called and they were able to fit me in right away. My hair felt and looked great! Cori was very knowledgeable and knew just how to handle my hair. Even the shampoo girl was gentle and combed out my very tightly coiled 4b hair out with ease. I would also recommend this salon for all types of hair as they seem to have all types of clients.

Van Cleef Salon is serene and beautiful. It is located just a few blocks from the Magnificent Mile. My stylist Cori is friendly, patient, and very talented. I finally decided not to continue relaxing my hair. Thanks to Cori (and my daughter who recommended this website and discontinuing with relaxers) I now have a TWA (Teeny Weeny Afro). Cori was able to cut my hair in a style flattering to my facial structure. In fact Cori “works magic” with relaxers, coloring, cuts, etc. I highly recommend Van Cleef Salon in general and Cori in particular. You may even see some of Chicago’s top news anchors in a chair near you. Also, Van Cleef has a Spa; so you can rejuvenate your hair, body, and spirit!!
