Stylist: Jennifer Light

Despite the fact that I might have to wait longer to see Jennifer, I can't keep her a secret from Houston curlies. She knows her curls (and is curly herself--maybe a 3A?). I have seen her cut anything from straight hair to 3C coils. A beautifully coiffed curly friend is how I found her in the first place. She has been through Deva training and carries some of that line, but primarily focuses on all that is green and organic including color. The salon is behind a Heights Victorian house. It's private and quiet-- just her and her client. She takes her time and will talk at length about your hair goals and what you want from your cut/color. She's an absolute jewel and the first person I've found since embracing my curls to whom I am loyal. I have seen her about 6 times so far. She cuts my husband's hair, too, and apparently several "couple cuts." She's great.
