Debra C. Lewis, Inc. - A Curl Haven
When I was a little girl, I would cut doll's hair dry to shape it. It never came out right. This is how the stylist approached my short, 3C curls. She asked me to wear my hair natural, and that she'd cut my hair dry. I've heard about the dry cut method; I never took much stock in it. Hair is hair, after all. My hair was (and still is) uneven, even after a second "please fix it" visit. I got so frustrated that I ended up cutting and evening out my own hair at home. She is a very nice person, and she did take about an hour to cut my hair. She's very big on curl instruction, too. But her "it doesn't have to be even to look even" method left me with the worst haircut I've ever gotten.
