I had a horrible haircut at this salon. Although Von seemed to know what he was doing and was very friendly, I left the salon looking like a poodle. I told him I wanted to leave my hair fairly long, because my curls curl best at should length. He cut the top section of my hair to my chin and left the bottom part long. I have very fine hair, and the result was a very poofy top section of hair, and a very thin lower section of hair (think curly mullet). I was devastated, and it took me almost 4 months to even out my hair again. It was one of the worst haircuts I've ever had.

From the moment I walked inside Seventeen Salon, I knew that I was in for a good experience. Right away I was offered a drink, and given magazines to look at. Before Von would even cut my hair, he first picked up bunches of my hair, inspecting my curl pattern while asking me what my major problems were. He quickly asessed the damage done to my hair, gave me a deep conditioning treatment, and fully explained everything he did. He specializes in curly hair, and answered all of my questions with ease. At the end, I was so happy with the result (bouncy ringlets) that I bought all of the products and was easily able to recreate the look with the tips from Von. Not too expensive with $50 for a cut and style, for he was the senior stylist.
