Wet Hair and Detangle. For detangling I mix water and conditioner in a spray bottle. Moisturize hair with coconut oil. Make sure to especially coat ends. Section into 4 even parts. Put 3 parts up and leave 1 down for now.
Coat the section you are on now with A curl defining cream of your choice. My favorite is Edens Coconut Shea Curl Defining Cream. Again, Split that one section into 4. gather 3/4 of that section and seperate it from the section you are using.
Comb through the piece of hair you are going to coil first and wet it again to make it easier to manipulate. Starting with the root of your hair, wrap it around your finger moving down as each inch coils. Repeat this step for the rest of the hair.
Wrap it with a scarf or cover it with a bag or bonnet and sleep with it overnight. If your hair takes a while to dry I suggest using a dryer. When you awake in the morning starting at the bottom separate each coil to match the size you prefer.
To separate, start at the root of a section and pull, but make sure you are still coiling it around you fingers as you pull. Do this to the entire head. After that you should be able to style as you please.
