Steps
1
Shampoo/Condition with a hydrating formula. I don't use anything expensive. I've been using Garnier Whole Blends Coconut for a while now.
2
De-tangle Completely
3
Make sure the hair is very wet before styling, not exactly dripping but if it's at all dry it will frizz. I take my brush and run it under the tap and re-wet the areas that tend to dry first (underneath and around the face).
4
Gently flip my head/hair over and run Herbal Essences Totally Twisted Curl Boosting Mousse (my holy grail, my ride or die) generously through the hair. It takes a lot, don't be afraid! Gently pull through the hair, then scrunch and scrunch and scrunch!
5
Gently flip the head/hair back over and place everything and let air dry.
6
Once it's TOTALLY dry, flip the head/hair back over one more time for one final good fluffing! This gets rid of any crunch and gives that lovely volume!
