Jane Carter Solution Curl Defining Cream

Dec 07, 2010 - I only gave this product a 2 curls because it did not do for me what it claimed to do - eliminate shrinkage. My curls still shrank as normal leaving me smaller than normal, dry curls. I first tried just the cream on clean well conditioned hair but found that gave me serious frizzies so I paired it with a Curl Junkie as a thicker leave-in and Kinky Curly and had better results. After several rounds of experimenting with various product combinations with this cream, I have yet to achieve the bouncy, soft curls that the product promises. I will not repurchase this product.

Curl Junkie Curls in a Bottle

May 25, 2010 - This is the best product I've tried in a long time. It gave my 3C hair bouncy, pretty curls where I usually just have waves. I use it right after co-washing on clean hair under my Kinky Curly leave-in conditioner and Kinky Curly jell. I finish by drying my hair with a diffuser and adding a little Carol's Daughter Hair Milk and some CD pommade. Wow! I have the best moisturized curls that last all day without any hint of frizziness. All of my friends have noticed a difference since I started using Curls in a Bottle.

Kinky-Curly Gloss Pomade

Dec 29, 2009 - I found this pomade one of the best! It only takes a small amount to give your hair just a touch of shine and a great finish for your style (smooth those fly-aways). It helps to fluff out the curls from the KCCC after drying and has just a touch of fragrance but not too much that you will be distracted by the smell of it all day. The little pot is handy for slipping in your purse and the ingredients are all natural. You can't get better than that!

V Vegaz - St. Louis, Missouri, United States

Mar 09, 2009 - I went to Jason after having having my hair cut for a straight style that I hardly ever wore and asked him to cut into something that was more compatible with my natural curly look. He asked me some questions about how short I wanted to go and with this in mind he cut my hair curl by curl. After washing and applying Deva products he placed me under the dryer and that's where he went wrong. My hair went abesolutly flat/frizzy under a dryer so the end style was less than attractive. (I use a blow dryer with a diffuser - not a hood dryer.) However, the cut is amazing although I was only able to tell after I got home and washed out some of the product (he applied way too much) and style it myself. Had I been the stylist, I wouldn't have have sent a client home with such a bad hair style. I could sense Jason's frustration but if he had a bit more patience and persistence with my style, he would have gotten to see what a great job he did with my cut.
