Garnier Fructis Triple Nutrition Conditioner

Aug 27, 2011 - This is my go-to conditioner. It does everything I need it to - my hair is the thick, wirey, 2C strands that love moisture and could care less about protein. This conditioner is moisture rich and protein free. It has good slip and makes detangling easy. Love it. I bought this several times and will continue to do so.

MOP C-System Hydrating Shampoo

Oct 09, 2010 - I am very impressed with this low-poo! I had an awful time finding a 'poo that didnt turn my thick 2c/3a protein sensitive hair into straw. I love that this is protein free, smells great, no silicones, sulfates, and my hair feels so nice after washing. This is the best low-poo I've found - will definitely re-order when my bottle runs out!

Salon Forza - Andover, Massachusetts, United States

May 29, 2012 - The long wait is over and Salon Forza is now open! Jen Traverso has created a beautiful full service salon on Essex St. in Andover center, and it was worth the wait. The doors just opened, so soon enough they will be set up to do massage, facials, and nail care to go along with the fantastic hair services they offer. I've been seeing Jen for a few years and she always gives me a cut that works *with* my wavy hair, not against it. I had my first visit to the new salon yesterday to see Jen for a much needed hair cut and I couldnt get over what a great job she did, not only with my hair, but the salon decor as well! Loved the massaging shampoo chairs, the neck/shoulder massage, and the relaxing vibe of the salon. Congrats on your grand opening Jen! I'll be seeing you soon.

Steven Michael - Andover, Massachusetts, United States

Oct 25, 2011 - Eek! I got razored AND thinned! My poor curls!

Cala Renee Salon - Beverly, Massachusetts, United States

Feb 15, 2011 - I give every place at least two visits before I write a review. I have tried other Deva stylists closer to home, and they just did not fully understand the concept of dry cutting. I have seen Cala at Cala Renee twice for Deva cuts, and she is has given me a great cut each time. (I have also seen Erin once as well, and she did a great job too) I did decide to go back after the second visit to have the back layers brought up slightly - lets be honest, the way we style our hair is different than the way others style it. The way I was styling it, I felt a little bulky in the back. I went back to the salon, and she adjusted it perfectly. I'm very happy with this salon - I believe they have the most combined experience in the Boston area when it comes to curly hair. The only con I can think of is the parking, it is street metered parking, so, fair warning.
