Nature`s Gate Jojoba Revitalizing Conditioner for Damaged Hair

Jun 13, 2013 - I love using this product as a part of my co-wash! It smells nice (superfluous, but pleasant) and really hydrates my hair. It has a great price for a silicone free, paraben free, sulfate free product, and you actually get a reasonable amount of it. The only big issue I've have with it so far is it's thickness. I had to water it down to get it to a usable consistency.

Renpure Organics My Pretty Hair is Parched! Moisturizing Shampoo

Jun 13, 2013 - I have high porosity hair naturally, so I was excited to see such an affordable sulfate-free conditioner that would help keep my hair's thirst slaked. I love the smell of this product and the way it feels in my hair. My only issue with it at the moment is I can't figure out how much to use (When I use too much, it is impossible to rinse out. Too little and it doesn't actually condition my hair). Also, it does contain silicone, but they're water soluble, so it is not a big issue. All in all I am still optimistic about this product and if I can figure out the right amount to use I will but more.

SheaMoisture Coconut & Hibiscus Curl Enhancing Smoothie

Jun 13, 2013 - I have found great success using this product on wet hair after doing a co-wash. I use about a teaspoon and half (a little goes a long way!), which I emulsify between my fingers before distributing it (with a mixture of scrunching and gently smoothing). It acts similarly to a gel, giving light definition, while keeping my natural high-porosity hair soft, smooth, and gently shiny (not a brilliant shine, but not unhealthy looking by any means). Be warned, however, as this product is very finicky with portions! Too much or too little can have disastrous effects. Too much and curls become crunchy and sticky in texture (blugh!), too little and there may as well be nothing there at all. You get a very good deal for the price and one jar has lasted me 6 months, though I use it nearly everyday.
