Jun 04, 2014 - I've been using Wen for years, even before I went natural. This is one of the first, if not the first, cleansing conditioners to hit the market before the whole cleansing conditioner craze. To this day it's still one of my favorites and it's a product I swear by. It does an amazing job of cleansing the hair and removing buildup while simultaneously leaving hair soft, defined and moisturized. The tea tree gives a refreshing tingling sensation to the scalp and it has plenty of slip to aid with detangling.

Jun 04, 2014 - Like others have mentioned, when I used this product my hair felt stripped, which is definitely odd for a deep conditioner, however it does work great as a leave in moisturizer so it's not a complete waste it you don't like it as a DC.
Jun 04, 2014 - When a product has "detangler" in the name, I usually assume it will have some type of slip, at least if it's targeted towards natural hair. This product doesn't have slip, however the oiliness of the product did make it easier to pull apart tangles and knots, so it's not a detangler in the traditional since, but it does have detangling properties. However, I use this more as a moisturizer than a detangler. This product is pretty oily upon application, however I find that by the next day most of the oiliness is gone. Overall, I enjoy this product. I don't use it often, and many might be turned off by it's lack of slip and oiliness, but it works for me.
