May 08, 2013 - This works great for me as a 1x weekly cleansing routine to clarify from daily cowashing. I have 2a/b fine, porous wavy hair. After using this my hair feels lighter and cleaner. However, I find the scent overpowering and offensive. It's like walking through the perfume section at a department store. Because of this and the extensive list of unpronounceable ingredients I will not be repurchasing.

May 03, 2013 - This just might be my HG product. As a wavy 2a/b with fine and porous hair, I wasn't sure what to expect, but the results are amazing and unlike any other product that I've tried (which is more than I care to admit!). After cowashing and using KKKT as a leave in, I apply a fairly small amount of the smoothie using a 'praying' motion down the length of my hair, and then I simply scrunch and go. The resulting waves are soft and natural with loose definition. Zero crunch, zero 'wet look'. Totally touchable tousled waves. I do experience some frizz by later in the day (Pacific west coast spring), but nothing that can't be solved with a little damp scrunch-n-smooth at the bathroom sink at lunch time. Given that this product is all natural, I think that my search for the perfect product is over. Wavies, if you're finding this product too sticky or heavy, cut back on how much you use... I was surprised by how little I need in my long hair. THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!
Apr 12, 2013 - This gel works great, but I don't like the film that it leaves on my hands as I touch my hair throughout the day. I don't need to use much on my 2a/b fine porous hair to achieve great curls, but the weird residue is a turn off. I'm giving the rest of my bottle away. Recommended only if you are really good about not touching your hair at all. I've used a lot of different hold products ($ to $$$), and this is the only one that I've had this kind of residue problem with.
