May 24, 2008 - I made an appointment at this salon based on the reviews here, and I was very dispppointed. When Erika got out the thinning shears, I told myself, "She must know what she's doing." I now know to absolutely refuse to have anyone use them on my hair, no matter how cool the salon or how highly recommended. Six months later, the lower half of my hair is still a frizzy mess. It will not be the same until the all of the thinned part has been cut off. Her styling methods (Aveda Be Curly, diffusing my hair while having me lean over in the chair) left me looking like a poodle. I ran home to restyle. The only good news is that she didn't charge an outrageous amount for the haircut.
