Feb 03, 2011 - Wow. Purchased as part of the trial size set. It works alright, but it's a very thin gel and you need a lot of it to control the curls. By the time I felt like all of my hair was coated, I used a good amount of my trial size bottle. When my hair was dry (air dry only), the "curl cast" was significant. I'm fine with that - a little scrunching and it goes away. There are definitely other products that do a better job for the money.

Feb 03, 2011 - Maybe it's just me (or my hair!) but I'm not loving this conditioner. Like the no poo shampoo, I feel like I have to use a lot of this conditioner just to get all of my hair coated. And I really don't feel like it's all that great. I had high hopes when I purchased the trial size, but I would not reorder.
Feb 03, 2011 - I'm finally using the Curly Girl method for my 3b/3c curls. This is my second sulfate free shampoo trial. It's okay - better than the L'Oreal Sulfate Free, but not great. I had to use a LOT to do my whole scalp. It's not bad, but not great. I'm going to keep searching.

Elly did a Deva Curly Cut for me today. First time with that type of cut and I love it! She took the time to explain each step of the process and taught me how to best use products to give my hair salon results at home. The salon is very nice and modern. The receptionist was polite and friendly. Highly recommend Bristle & Prim and more specifically Elly if you have curly hair!
