Nov 10, 2011 - As a 3b, I LOVE this one. I've been searching for a conditioner for 20 years, and have tried everything from Deva to Aveda to Pantene. The trick is finding the one product that works for YOU and your curl type. Read all the reviews you want, but what works for her may not work for you. This one is perfect for my hair. The curls are soft and defined, they're actually shiny, and the drying hair coloring products aren't winning out anymore. Try it. It's cheap!

Mar 02, 2009 - even though it has sulfates, i use it every Saturday to remove residue built up over the week from styling products. i always follow with a deep conditioning masque (or mask!) because it can dry my curls, making them frizzy.
Feb 03, 2009 - a good product for those really humid days when your hair is a giant fuzzball. It keeps more moisture out. Don't use too much or your hair will feel sticky. A little goes a long way.

May 19, 2010 - This wasn't just a haircut; it was an education! Sam took loads of time dry-cutting each curl at just the right point so they hang nicely instead of bushing out like a shrub. Then she washed and conditioned my hair, instructing me every step of the way so I could do it correctly at home. After that, she trimmed the curls a second time to make sure everything was just right. Most of the stylists at this salon have been trained in the Massey way of curl cutting (she wrote the book, "Curly Girl"), so they really know what they're doing. Sam treated my curls like they were delicate little flowers; she was so careful and respectful! They sent me home with shampoo & conditioner samples, which was a nice bonus. Once I figure out which works best, I'll go in and buy. Be warned though: because they take so much pride in what they do, my cut took an hour and 50 minutes, but it was worth it! Thanks Sam!
