Jun 12, 2010 - This gave me very good natural soft curl definition but no hold. If I mess to much with my hair it will frizz a bit. So, I add a small amount of the Stretch Silkening Creme and coconut oil on top of it and I get shiny beautiful touchable curls that last. The smell is an odd floral scent, but a light one. This is a light but expansive creme, a little goes a long way if the hair is damp enough.

Jun 12, 2010 - I like this creme even though it has a strong rose like scent that takes some getting used to(it loses a curl on that). I wouldn't use it by itself as it is kind of strong hold and not very moisturizing-it's too light, but it does have a bit of hold to it, so I only use a little with the Quick Curls creme and some coconut oil and I get good curls with little or no frizz. It does beautiful on twist outs. Giving me shiny, firm, elongated, but soft coils. Best of all, the next day I can dampen my hair and re-style it into a twist out or finger style without adding any more product and I like that a lot.
May 06, 2010 - I really like this product. It defines my curls (3c-4a) really well and it works well for slicking back my hair too. It does dry to a very firm and crunchy hold if you use too much. I use a generous amount of the Knot Today leave with a little coconut oil then add a dime size of the curling custard and that's really enough. It's great to be able to use so little when I usually have to pile on a cream or other gel to get the same result. It's easy to get carried away for the fore-mentioned reason, so you have to resist putting more and let it work. Yes, it does takes a long time to dry, which makes sense, it has all natural ingredients and no alcohol like other gels which are so drying to my hair. For me it's a fair trade off.I can always use a diffuser on cool to dry.
