SheaMoisture Raw Shea Butter Deep Treatment Masque

Dec 10, 2012 - So i bought this yesterday and deep conditioned with it today and this is how i feel. This was my first store bought moisture treatment so i don't have much to compare with.I hate the smell of this. It smells like frankincense, which i never cared for. However, i am willing to deal with the smell because this stuff is really nice. Heads up, if your hair has product build up, this is not going to glide onto your hair very smoothly. If you're hair is squeaky clean, this product has pretty nice slip. Not the best slip but slip none the less. My hair has never been so soft since i started taking care of my own hair. My hair is naturally frizzy. the only time it's not frizzy is when it's wet. this product did not send my frizz packing but then again i was not expecting it to. All in all if you're not looking for something to alter your hair's natural tendencies (my natural frizz) and you like having soft hair, give this a spin. (my hair has no product in it at the moment, so this is a true review)

SheaMoisture Coconut & Hibiscus Curl & Style Milk

Aug 22, 2012 - Ii can say nothing bad about this product. it smells amazing, it's moisturizing, no silicons (i'm not anti siliconic, it just that when a silicone is in the 1st 10 ingredients of a product my hair feels dry on day 2 which i am not feeling) and i love it under my favorite styling cream. the texture of it is just how i like my leave ins to be: creamy but not too thick. the slip is lovely, cut my dt time by 40% i'd say and i always get compliments on how my hair looks and smells when it's in my hair. it's not really something someone past 3c (imo) can use as a styler because it's not very heavy but i can get away with it and get fluffy bouncy lightly defined curls. i think anyone could use it as a leave in because it moisturizes so well! it's an HG for me. i'm currently out and i'm so sad because it's not in my price range right now. that's the only downside for me personally that it is about $1.25 per ounce. hope to catch a sale or a discount on it sometime soon.
