Oct 25, 2012 - I first met Shannon when I was looking for curly-hair products at another salon. Her knowledge impressed me - plus she had curly hair too so she completely understands how it is trying to manage and style curly hair on a daily basis, so I gave it a go and had her cut my hair. It was a total Game Changer for my hair. She not only gives me a great cut every time, but she's also taught me how to style and maintain my curls and introduced me to the Deva Curl products and methods. I love my curly hair again and can make it look great with very little effort. I've had Shannon do both a regular haircut and the Deva Curl Haircut (for $10 upcharge); both are great but I like the sense of security I get from the Deva Cut. Instead of washing your hair first, you come in as you are and she starts cutting. This gave me more curl and allowed me to see the length my hair would be without having to guess how much shorter my hair would be when it dried. Then after dry cutting, she washes and styles your hair. Deva Curl Cut is AWESOME. I followed Shannon to this new salon, Indulge, and I like it a lot. It's classy but never snobby. The receptionists are very helpful and friendly. You can also get Deva Curl and other great products there; Shannon also sells Mary Kay, so it's a great and convenient one-stop shop to get most of my hair and makeup needs taken care of at the same place.
