Giovanni Tea Tree Shampoo

Feb 13, 2014 - I bought this product because after months of researching, I decided I'd rather use an actual shampoo rather than an apple cider vinegar mix to clarify my hair. This shampoo definitely did the job. My hair felt very clean, and the tea tree oil made my scalp feel refreshed. In regard to reviews about this product being drying, it's not reasonable to expect this shampoo to act like a moisturizing shampoo/cowash. The product packing itself says that it clarifies - which means that it's going to take everything, oils and product, out of your hair. My recommendation (especially for those with tight curls/coils) is to wash your hair in sections to avoid massive tangles and deep condition immediately after washing. I did that this morning and had no problems. (The fact that I detangled prior to washing probably helped also.) My hair feels great - I definitely recommend this product!

Carols Daughter Tui Leave-in Conditioner

Feb 11, 2014 - This is one of the few refresher sprays that I felt actually put moisture back into my hair. It kept my hair feeling/looking moisturized until my next wash session. My only complaint about this product (and some of Carol's other product) is the strong fragrance. While it did smell good, I had to be very careful about other products I use (whether they be other hair products or body products) when using this spray to make sure that I didn't take out my coworkers lol. If you look at the ingredient list of Carols' products, perfume is usually listed close to the top - I'm not a fan of that, especially since it's a chemical and not the natural fragrance of the ingredients.

Carols Daughter Tui Hair Oil

Feb 11, 2014 - I used this for hot oil treatments after my BC and got great results. It really put moisture back into my hair.
